Building Ag Futures is a coalition of farm employers, farmworkers, educators, ag service providers, and workforce organizations working together to bring agricultural workforce innovation to Oregon.  We are apart of a growing network of visionary organizations leading the charge in developing registered apprenticeship programs tailored to agriculture’s unique needs.

Building Ag Futures’ mission is to develop and advance a skilled workforce in the agriculture sector.

 

We are “building successful ag careers, one apprentice at a time” to collaboratively address the pressing need for a skilled workforce in the agricultural sector to ensure that Oregon’s rich agricultural legacy continues to flourish—today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.

BAF JATC

A Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) plays a pivotal role in establishing registered apprenticeship programs. Comprising representatives from both labor and management, the JATC is responsible for the oversight of apprenticeship standards that ensure high-quality training and equitable opportunities for apprentices.
